Request for Expressions of Interest
Flexible Learning Toolboxes: Research into usage trends in VET
EOI No. 04/04-08
Expressions of interest are requested from researchers with knowledge of e-learning and the vocational education and training (VET) system to undertake quantitative and qualitative research on a national scale into usage trends of Flexible Learning Toolboxes (Toolboxes) and their learning objects.
Toolboxes are interactive e-learning and assessment resources designed for use by registered training organisations, business and industry. All Toolboxes support nationally endorsed training packages and are disaggregated as learning objects available from the Toolbox Repository.
Toolbox development and distribution is a prominent activity of the national training system’s e-learning strategy, the Australian Flexible Learning Framework (Framework). Since its incorporation into the Framework in 2000, Toolboxes have developed principles for e-learning design, portability, flexibility and accessibility.
EOI's must be lodged by 2.00pm (AEST) Monday 28th April 2008.
