Patches

The following files have been provided for those owning copies of Toolboxes wishing to update their files. We suggest you read the instructions provided in the 'How to update' document before downloading the updated files. To copy the files to your hard drive right-click on the linked text and select 'Save Target As...' the 'Save As' box will appear and you will need to navigate to the destination you are directed to save the file to.

Updates exist for:

Flash Player

Having problems running Flash content? Flash Player 8 and 9 restrict some content if you are playing it from your computer (as opposed to playing it from a live website).

Get instructions from the Installation page on how to manually configure your Flash Player settings to allow all content to be played.

Training and Assessment E-learning Electives 808

Update #1

Issue: There is a duplicate file in the 808 Toolbox.  The correct file is available here to include in your Toolbox. File: des503a_eguide.htm

Frontline Management (Up Front!) 601

Update #1

Issue: This patch is for the Frontline Management (Up Front!) Toolbox 601. There are links on the site maps to pages which don't exist - they were included by mistake. Users can easily remove the extra links from the site map pages for each unit by following the instructions and replacing the site map files in the relevant unit.

Update #2

Issue: Some web servers exhibit behaviour that is not expected by the “guided tour” section of the FLM Toolbox. If you find that you get stuck at a loading screen when you select the guided tour, then you need this patch.

This issue has only been seen so far on Apache 1.3 under Debian Linux, but may occur on other platforms and potentially browser combinations.

If your guided tour works then you don’t need this patch. The patch ensures that the Flash movie correctly recognises when loading has occurred. The original file would initiate a reload on timeout, getting stuck in a loop, rather than just waiting a little longer.

In cases where the source has been changed for Flash content we have provided the .fla file. This file is not necessary for the running of the Toolbox but may be needed for customisation purposes.
