Description

This Toolbox provides flexible learning opportunities for those working either within the community safety industry, or with organisations that are required to identify community safety issues, eg, State Emergency Services, Country Fire Authority, Local Councils and the Police Force.

Based on actual workplace contexts, Woombalah Festival contains learning materials for self‑guided study and group collaboration. Woombalah Festival comprises content, tasks and activities which cover the underpinning knowledge and skills supporting seven units of competency.

The unique features of this product are the integration of competencies into authentic learning experiences relating to the work environment that the learner has or will encounter. It is designed to be applied in conjunction with practical on-the-job training spread over qualifications from Certificate III, Certificate IV and Diploma of Public Safety.
