Description
Employment Consultant Skills provides formal training for people working in or planning to work in the employment services industry, assisting them to gain the knowledge and skills required in their dealings with both employers and job seekers. It supports four of the units from the Certificate IV in Employment Services.
Employment Consultant Skills is scenario-based and set in the context of JobFill, a virtual employment service where you take on the role of an employment consultant. You start by selecting the unit of competency that you want to work on from your diary. Each unit is represented by a different day of the week. The diary opens to a page displaying the appointments relevant to the competency you have chosen. Each day has three appointments that contain activities relating to the unit of competency corresponding to that day. Some activities ask you to choose various options that take you along different pathways. The JobFill intranet contains JobFill's policies and procedures, job seeker and employer files, copies of blank forms, and links to useful websites.
