Description
XLR8 is an interactive learning resource supporting seven units from the Automotive Retail, Service and Repair Training Package. It places the learner into realistic automotive workplace situations. It contains a series of Jobs divided into stages allowing a systematic approach. These stages are:
- See – visual and/or audio context setting
- Find – research and investigation
- Do – active engagement
- Apply – place the learning into the workplace
- Share – exchange of learning with fellow learners and work colleagues.
Learning activities include quizzes, activities and multimedia representations simulating workplace situations.
The learner is supported by a range of additional resources including an extensive glossary, simulated workplace settings, links to external resources, and downloadable workplace documents.
