Description
The Facilities Management Toolbox is a series of online tools that have been developed to support the delivery of the Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Sport and Recreation. It covers eight elective units.
The Toolbox has been designed to cater for entry level learners seeking a career in facilities management or experienced workers wanting to gain specific skills
The learner is engaged as the manager of FitWorks, a fictitious sport and recreation facility, and is required to complete a number of projects that relate to the management of the facility. Each project is broken down into a series of tasks. Each of the tasks has a workplace alternative for those who are currently employed. As well as supporting individual learning, this Toolbox encourages collaboration among the learners.
