Description
This Toolbox supports Certificates II to IV in Engineering from the Metal and Engineering Training Package MEM98.
Learners are immersed in the real world of ‘Progressive Engineering and Maintenance (PEM)’ – a company providing maintenance and diagnostic expertise to industries involved in mining, energy, oil exploration, manufacturing and shipping. Job cards are posted on a job board and outline individual task requirements. A holistic approach enables learners to work through tasks supported by multiple resources available at PEM and directed via ‘Need help?’. This teaching and learning design caters for a range of learning styles ranging from guided to discovery. Thought starters encourage learners to collaborate with others and share their personal learning and work experiences.
