Description

The competencies selected for this Toolbox are a mixture of the core competencies of the Diploma of Information Technology (Knowledge Management) and core competencies in the Diploma of Information Technology (Database Design and Development).

The Knowledge Management Toolbox provides a task-based learning setting in which learners assume roles in knowledge management activities and work using well structured learning guides to plan and undertake activities whose successful completion is demonstrative of competence of the various elements. The learning setting provides authentic and meaningful learning activities set within the context of a marine organization. The resources, content and course material is drawn from a number of real life situations in the marine industry.
