Description
This Toolbox caters for a wide range of learning styles and includes features specifically designed for learners with literacy problems, such as written and verbal instructions and basic drag and drop style interactivity.
The selected units are stand-alone and are therefore suited to either individual study or a more holistic approach to delivery. The Toolbox contains the theory for each unit, including text, photographs, flash animation and video as well as related activities which can be used for practice or to assist in gathering evidence for assessment. Other features of this Toolbox include sample learning plans and tutor guides for each unit, a facility for adding industry links and tools for uploading new content.
Each unit of competency is supported by approximately six learning tasks which are designed to assist students to engage with the course content and material. The tasks provide a range of interactions for the learners and provide immediate feedback on levels of success and achievement. The accompanying resources are provided in the form of an electronic book which students can access freely to gain information about the topics/elements being studied.
