Description

The Mining Toolbox is applicable to three sectors of the mining industry, specifically metalliferous, extractive, and mineral. Users can choose a pathway through which they navigate the product based upon their own specialised area. The Toolbox is organised around small tasks which can be entered at any point, but where a linear path is the most obvious choice. It is suitable for workers who are new to the industry (including traineeships) and existing workers from Operator/Technician level to Supervisor/Management level.

Each activity contributes to an overall portfolio of work which can be submitted to the tutor for assessment. The overall approach to learning is a situated one, with users identifying and discussing issues relating to their own environments.
