Description

View Version Improvements

Operators in the petro-chemical industry are increasingly required to undertake their skills and knowledge training on-the-job in small grabs of time between work duties. The industry makes extensive use of computer technology, company Intranets and the Internet. This Toolbox provides a flexible training environment that allows learners to conveniently access the training from any of their work stations within a single plant, from multiple plant sites or wherever their work takes them including new job roles and employment opportunities.

Version Improvements

This Toolbox is a revision (Version 3) of the original. The following is a list of improvements made to this version.

The original Chemical, Hydrocarbons and Oil Refining Toolbox has been updated to reflect changes with the updating of the Training Package. Of the original 20 units, 14 have been edited and had new sections added to align them to Training Package PMA02 for Chemical, Hydrocarbons and Oil Refining, and two new units (SUP100 and SUP120) have been written. Four units (HAZ200, OHS100, QUAL200 and QUAL300) could not be aligned but have been retained as some sections may still be of value to trainers.
