Description
The Airworthiness Administration Toolbox is designed to support the Diploma of Aeroskills. It guides learners through Airworthiness Administration regulations and requirements using the fictitious company, 'Fit to Fly Aircraft Maintenance'.
Fit to Fly Aircraft Maintenance employs a number of Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAME), unlicensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME), assistants and apprentices. Key LAMEs are responsible for ensuring all maintenance work strictly follows Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) guidelines.
This Toolbox delivers parts of the Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) course issued by Civil Air Safety Authority (CASA). The units being developed cover areas that affect the daily work of LAMEs.
Using real work situations that deal with different aircraft types, learners work through the various jobs required of a qualified LAMEs.
* Please note: This Toolbox will not deliver the entire content of the LAME certificate. A LAME must first undertake CASA authorised testing.
