Arranging ideas into a logical order
Introduction

To arrange your ideas into the order in which you need to present them, think about what will 'tune in' your audience to what you are going to say. What do they already know?

Work from the known to the unknown. Without going into too much detail about what they already know, make the link and then move on. If you can connect to what your audience knows in some way, they will be more likely to understand your message.

What do they need to know next? Think about how your ideas can 'build' to convey a cohesive message that has a beginning, a middle and an end.
