Role of WorkCover / WorkSafe
WorkCover or WorkSafe are the state government bodies that are responsible for administering the following legislation:
- OH&S Acts
- Workers Compensation
- Workplace Injury Management
If an accident occurs at work a WorkCover or WorkSafe inspector may arrive to investigate what happened.
Workers’ Compensation and Workplace Injury Management legislation provides protection for workers who are injured while they are doing their job.
