Lots of data is collected
on the subject of teenage pregnancy and its outcomes. It is used
to make sure there is adequate sex education to minimise unplanned
pregnancies. It's also used to provide adequate support
services for teenagers who do find themselves pregnant.
This assessment task,
Teenage Pregnancy, allows you to show how well
you can analyse some of this data, show it graphically and interpret
the trends.
Teenage Pregnancy
has three parts:
- Teenage births - Australian data
- Pregnant! Abortion or Birth?
- Teenage mothers. Married? Unmarried?
This task covers the Data component
of Numeracy.
When you have completed
this task, submit it to your teacher.
