3. Record the rhythm track

Photo of the band in position ready to play and the digital 4-track has been powered up.Everyone is in place, the microphone is set up and the recording machine has been powered up. So what's next? It's time to record the rhythm track which is going to consist of the drums, guitar and bass.

The band members are tuning guitars and making sure everything is connected and working. While they are doing that, you need to finish setting up the machine.

To record the rhythm track you are going to have to...

3.1

Select the data type.
3.2 Turn off the internal microphone and select the input source/s.
3.3 Monitor, record and playback the sound.
