The Landcare Centre has had a number of enquiries from people in the Clearwater River catchment area about particular problems they are having. Mac Davis has something destroying the eucalypt trees on his farm that needs to be dealt with pretty quickly.

In response we have contracted plant pest, disease and disorders expert, Dianne Quartermaine, to look into each of the problems more closely. Suyan, one of the centre's volunteers, is helping out and it would be great if you could join the team, with your supervisor's permission of course.

This unit will introduce you to the principles of recognising and treating plant pest, disease and disorder problems. You can then apply these principles to your local area and conditions.
