Conducting an expert test

Aim:
To conduct an expert test on a multimedia product.

Objective:
SET 8 is where the learner conducts an expert test on one of their selected sites.

The 'expert team' for this purpose will include four people: the learner, the learner's buddy, the learner's mentor and the buddy's mentor.

This team will inspect two sites - one of the learner's and one of the buddy's.

The learner will need to provide the team with all the documentation about the selected site: scope (focus, criteria and objective); purpose and audience.

Check:
The learner has communicated all the information to the expert team so that the testing can proceed.

Feedback:
1. Ensure the learner has understood the composition of the expert team and they test two sites: one of the learner's and one of the buddy's. 2. Encourage the learner to set timelines for the team members to conduct their individual site tests.
