Exploring game-play: basic elements

Aim:
To explore the basic game elements in game-play and understand how these apply in a game design.

Objective:
There are seven basic elements in game-play (objectives, challenges, obstacles, rules, outcomes, rewards, and performance indicators).

The learner will find the definitions of these terms provided in the SOURCES.

The learner is to identify in detail the basic elements in four traditional (pre-electronic) games.
