Ensuring quality training

At OLS we know that our survival as a company depends on quality training delivery. That's why we provide a valuable support network for trainers/assessors through our mentoring program, and opportunities for ongoing improvement.

Induction Training

New trainer/assessors complete an induction training course to ensure that they understand OLS policies and procedures.

Mentoring
Jasper Wellard, an OLS mentor.

A senior trainer/assessor who provides ongoing support and advice mentors each of our trainer/assessors.

Peer reviews
A trainer/assessor making notes during a peer review.

Trainer/Assessors periodically observe each other delivering training sessions. A report is completed based on this observation.

This report is aimed at highlighting areas of potential improvement.

Professional Development
Trainer/Assessor completing a Professional Development course.

All our trainer/assessors periodically complete professional development (PD) courses.

Appropriate courses are selected in consultation with a mentor.

Feedback
A feedback form.

OLS staff are encouraged to provide feedback to OLS management on policies, strategies and procedures.

Feedback forms can be submitted to a mentor or completed online. This feedback is used as a basis for continuous improvement.
