Services
The Victorian Toolbox Champion service provides assistance with the implementation of Flexible Learning Toolboxes. (Toolboxes are collections of computer-based training materials designed to support flexible delivery of vocational education and training.)
We provide a range of Toolbox-related services including:
- Advice and support on using Toolboxes in different training contexts.
- Organising and facilitating professional development activities.
- Mentoring teams who wish to implement Toolboxes.
- Helping to establish national Toolbox user groups.
- Disseminating information and brokering other types of support (eg customisation).
Who to contact
The current Victorian Toolbox Champions is Sarah Phillips. Sarah can provide support in e-learning include everything from multimedia and platform development, web 2.0 and social media to educational design and pedagogy. This includes the use of the Equella system for accessing, customising and storing e-learning content for local delivery using Blackboard Vista. Sarah's role will also include ensuring Victorian providers are aware of the range of nationally funded Toolbox e-learning materials.
