The "Toolbox Champion" initiative has been established to provide support to Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) with a range of issues in using Toolboxes effectively in their programs.
These include:
Technical Issues, eg installing the Toolbox programs, extracting and managing individual Toolbox files, transferring the materials to a Learning Management System and customising the materials for local needs.
Educational Issues, eg induction of learners to the online program, ways of using the Toolbox activities and resources, scheduling of learning activities and assessment, and facilitating learner participation in online discussions.
Organisational Issues, eg planning the incorporation of Toolbox materials into new and existing programs, management of teaching time, supporting learner's technological needs and changes in student management arrangements.

What are Flexible Delivery Toolboxes?
A Toolbox is a collection of resources, suggested learning strategies and supporting material to support online delivery of vocational education and training. Information about the Toolbox initiative, including access to the model web sites from the Toolbox series, is available at flexiblelearning.net.au/toolbox. Who to contact
Denise Morgan and her champion team are supporting Toolbox implementation in Queensland.
The team is made up of members with varying skills, backgrounds and experiences. Using our combined knowledge and skills we aim to provide advice, assistance and guidance in the implementation and use of Toolboxes within your organisation.

Denise Morgan as Manager - Innovations at WideBay TAFE
Denise manages online delivery, distance education, product development and promotes and supports the uptake of technology in delivery.
She has been involved in the development and implementation of Toolboxes, conducted Toolbox workshops and guided the implementation of Toolboxes in many organisations in since Series 3 in 2002.
Philip Wheeler – Instructional Designer
Phil
has worked in high schools, technical colleges and at university
during a teaching career spanning 25+ years. He is also an
information systems specialist, computer programmer and systems
administrator.
Phil has been active in the field of web-based educational resources for the past six years, and has a particular interest in the delivery of math-based activities over the web using a combination of server- and client-side technologies. He is experienced in online delivery and has significant technical expertise applicable to the customisation of Toolboxes. He now works in the Innovations unit at Wide Bay TAFE assisting with online course creation and Toolbox utilisation.
Alan Handyside - Webmaster
Alan Handyside maintains the Institute websites, develops material and updates information.
Alan also having completed a course in Integrated Multimedia has assisted with the customisation of Toolboxes.
