- Customisation at various level of technical skill
- Implementation - stand alone CDROM, web based, learning management system based
- Integration with other teaching methods
- Assissting people with searching for resources using the Toolbox Repository
Who to contact
Melanie Burke
Melanie is the Executive Officer at Service Industries Training Advisory Council (SITAC). This is her
third year as the Northern Territory's Toolbox Champion.
Melanie has worked with Industry and Training Organisations to develop content
for computer managed training resources. She has provided advice on instructional
design and appropriateness of content to Toolbox Development Teams. Through her
experience developing and implementing Training Packages, Melanie can offer suggestions
to incorporate Toolboxes as training resources to support delivery. In 2000,
Melanie was the Northern Territory's first Flexible Learning Leader.
Graeme Sawyer
Graeme
Sawyer has worked as a computer professional for over 20 years,
with 15 years experience in Multimedia and online technologies.
He has a diverse range of experience with different computer
technology applications, machine types and software and has
worked at the primary, Secondary, TAFE and Tertiary levels
of Education. His core expertise is in the integration of Multimedia
and Information Technology into education.
He has worked on a number of e-learning projects with a wide variety of technologies,
including projects with University of Southern Queensland. He has extensive experience
in the professional development of educators, especially in relation to the integration
of Information Technology into teaching practice.
Graeme has developed extensive skills in multimedia production and the ability
to integrate new technologies into development cycles and projects. Graeme has
particular expertise in multimedia, training, and project management and has
been involved with elements of what is now the Internet since the 1980's.
He has extensive project management capabilities and he has worked on Flexible
Learning Toolbox projects, including the design of Toolbox content. He also has
e-business expertise and advanced knowledge of web applications and online technologies.
Katharina Gerste
Katharina is the information Officer for SITAC and
coordinates Toolbox enquiries.
