The Content Services Advisory Network provides support to training providers in the selection and use of e-learning resources from the National Repository;

The Content Services Advisors assist private RTOs, industry bodies, businesses, TAFE, ACE and VET in Schools in the successful implementation of Toolboxes. A Content Services Advisor operates in every state and territory to support the implementation of Toolboxes. They are available to:

Jyothi has over ten years of experience in the online environment organising professional development opportunities for the vocational education and training (VET) sector in exploring creative and innovative ways to use the latest technologies to embed e-learning in their teaching and training practice.

Jyothi is the ACT’s E-learning Coordinator and Content Services Advisor for the National VET E-learning Strategy.  She also manages the Industry System Change business activity’s website http://industry.flexiblelearning.net.au.  In the past she has been involved in coordinating and managing several Australian Flexible Learning Framework (Framework) Projects including Flexible Learning Leaders, Legal Issues in Flexible Learning, E-learning Networks, Communities of Practice and e-Events.  As the ICT Project Manager, Jyothi has also managed CIT's MyCIT Portal and AskUs projects.  She is passionate about exploring ways to use latest technology including Web 2.0, social media and mobile/hand held devices to assist in the delivery of effective teaching and learning practices.  She has extensive experience in online facilitation and also has experience in developing multimedia content for websites.

Adam joined the VET sector in 1989, teaching electrical trades and industrial electronics. In 2000 Adam ventured into the world of E-learning, studying with Monash University in the field of multimedia. Four years followed where Adam trained development teams throughout NSW in online technologies and worked as production manager on national Toolbox projects. Later he consulted to the Flexible Learning Framework in the specialist areas of accessibility and technical testing. Adam then returned to a head teacher role and mentored other institute teams in online technologies. He looks forward to working with individuals and teams from RTOs and other learning organisations to build E-learning capability, taking full advantage of the wealth of national resources available.

Graeme SawyerMelanie Brenton and Graeme Sawyer are working to assist Northern Territorians to implement Toolboxes.

Melanie can offer assistance in using Toolboxes in a variety of different organisations – schools, industry, training providers large and small. Melanie’s IT experience is drawn from experience developing computer managed training support resources. She can also provide advice on using Toolboxes as support resources for the delivery of Training Package qualifications. This is her third year as the NT’s Toolbox

Graeme has worked as a computer professional for over 20 years, with 15 years experience in Multimedia and online technologies. His core expertise is in the integration of Multimedia and Information Technology into education including customisation of Toolboxes. He has extensive experience in the professional development of educators, especially in relation to the integration of Information Technology into teaching practice.

David Drinkall and the Product Innovation team at Product Services (Department of Education and Training) are supporting Toolbox implementation in Queensland.

The Product Innovation team has members with varying skills, backgrounds and experiences in e-learning. Using their combined knowledge and skills, the team aims to provide advice, assistance and guidance to bring the benefits of Toolboxes to your training organisation and your learners.

David has experience in education, across the schools and vocational education and training sectors.

His VET experience was in learning management systems. Since then he has had various roles in industry consultancy, educational design and development, research and innovation and e-learning.

The SA Content Services Advisor is Douglas Purcell. He is supported by Georgina Nou.

Douglas has a long involvement in the development of e-learning resources and e-facilitation. He has previously taught in adult literacy programs and provided professional development to TAFE SA staff implementing e-learning.

Picture of Georgina NouGeorgina has been involved in numerous e-learning projects both delivering and supporting online training as well as resource development. Her background is in language, literacy and numeracy education working with remote and regional indigenous learners.

Sarah has been working in the VET sector for seven and years and within e-learning for five and a half years. Sarah began within the Adult Community Education Sector at Continuing Education Bendigo where she secured the role of ACFE E-mentor for the region of Loddon Mallee for 3 years. In this time Sarah also project managed three Australian Flexible Learning Framework projects, two of which were E-learning Innovations projects and one Emerging Technology Trial.

Sarah can provide support in e-learning include everything from multimedia and platform development, web 2.0 and social media to educational design and pedagogy. This includes the use of the Equella system for accessing, customising and storing e-learning content for local delivery using Blackboard Vista. Sarah’s role will also include ensuring Victorian providers are aware of the range of nationally funded Toolbox e-learning materials.

Chris is the VET PD Coordinator at WestOne Services and the Content Services Advisor for the National VET E-learning Strategy in WA.

Chris has an extensive career history in both IT Support and Multimedia for the private sector and more recently as the eLearning Services Coordinator at the West Coast Institute of Training.

Experienced in website design and development, graphic design, video editing and animation, Chris is now applying his knowledge to the eLearning niche as WA Content Services Advisor.
