18 August 2000 - Tenders are invited for the provision of mentoring services to teams developing the third series of Toolboxes. The Tender Brief is now available.
7 July 2000 - The development of series 2 of the Toolboxes is reaching the mid-way point. Samples from each of the projects are now available.
2 June 2000 - Expressions of interest are being sought for the development of a third series of flexible learning Toolboxes. The Guidelines for Expressions of Interest are now available.
21 February 2000 - Details of the projects selected for Series 2 of Toolbox funding have just been announced.
7 December 99 - the Toolbox Central 'Tools and Talk for Online Training' web site has been launched. A joint initiative of the Office of Further Education and TAFE SA, Toolbox Central provides a range of resources for anyone interested in developing, implementing or evaluating online training. 21 October 99 - An independent organisation, the Queensland Open Learning Network, was engaged during the first round of Toolbox development to evaluate all aspects of the Toolbox project. The final Toolbox evaluation report (PDF) on the first round of Toolbox development is now available.
September 1999 - The Office of Post Compulsory Education Training and Employment in Victoria is managing Series 2 of Toolbox project funding, on behalf of the EdNA VET Advisory Group and ANTA. A selection process for this round of funding has now been completed. Thirteen project proposals have attracted full funding, with a further three proposals identified for advanced prototype development. As in the first series of Toolboxes, an independent evaluation of the process and outcomes of Series 2 will be undertaken by the Queensland Open Learning Network.
