The Online Product Development, Review & Evaluation Project supports the development of flexible and portable online resources to support training.
Up till now the main output of the Project has been the Toolbox program (online learning resources to support to Training Packages). The 3rd series of Toolboxes will be launched in October 2001.
The Online Products for Equity Groups initiative is intended to complement the Toolbox program by developing an expanded range of online products to support the wider needs of the VET sector.
In 2000, this initiative has focused on the development of online products related to the training of:
- Indigenous Learners
- Learners with Disabilities
- Learners with Literacy and Numeracy Needs.
The Online Product Development, Review & Evaluation Project is part of the Australian Flexible Learning Framework - a national collaboration of all states and territories for conducting a range of strategic initiatives to assist the Australian VET sector’s transition to the Information Economy.
